Lavender Moon Quartz is a rare crystal that comes from the Boquira Mine in the municipality of Oliveira dos Brejinhos in the Brazilian state of Bahia. It opened in 1956 and is no longer in operation. Meaning what is out there for this crystal is all there is. The milky lavender color comes from an inclusion of girasol as this gorgeous quartz was forming.
